Bucharest, 11 May, 2012
Industrial Access, the leader of the Romanian market for mobile elevating working platforms, announces the presence in its’ 800 units fleet of the first self-propelled telescopic boom lift JLG „Made in Romania”, after buying the model 510 AJ.  Industrial Acces is the distributor of JLG products in Romania, Bulgaria and Moldavia, JLG being the premium brand in international self- propelled telescopic boom lift production.

"By investing in this self-propelled telescopic boom we are trying to contribute to the development of the professionalism level of the construction market in Romania, promoting a new concept, of a performant and very efficient equipment. This in a context where the general trend created at the local level by client companies is to look for the cheapest price, without taking into consideration the hidden costs and the general expenses required by fleet management”, says Stefan Ponea, CEO & Managing Partner, Industrial Access. “The fact that now we can buy premium equipment directly from Romania brings us the quick response advantage, as the product is delivered in the same day that the order has been made, compared with a 6 days minimum period that the transportation from another country would require”, points out Stefan Ponea.

At the beginning, the 510 AJ model was made in Belgium, being produced especially for the European market, buy recently its’ production was moved at the plant that JLG has in Medias. The essential advantage of this equipment is brought by the complete electronic control, due to Advanced Design Electronics System – ADE, which provides increased fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. Another characteristics is the fact that the troubleshooting time is reduced with its self-test capability. Available on the JLG Model 510AJ - the Workstation in the Sky™ Series of access platform accessories and attachments are major innovations in aerial work platform design to make above ground jobs even more efficient and free operators from ground-based tools; relieve job site congestion; reduce noise, emissions and fuel consumption; and conserve platform space to enhance working conditions for the operator. 510AJ does a great work on difficult field conditions and in tight working areas, due to its’ compact design.

510 AJ played an important part in the fleets that were used in major construction projects, like Metro, Real, Ikea, Arena Stadium in Cluj-Napoca and National Arena Stadium in Bucharest. These projects preferred 510 AJ not only for its technical performance, but also for the services that Industrial Access offers to its’ clients, which are unique on the Romanian market: 24/7 service support, the possibility to quickly replace the equipment if an important breakage takes place and the service workstations all over the country.
